Money Saving Tips for an Easy Back to School Season!
Help getting organized for the back to school season is only minutes away...back
to school means back to the bank for more money. We all want to want to
save money on school supplies. We’ve put together ten helpful tips
to help get you organized so that you will save time and money.
1. Make a list of what you have on hand. You may be surprised at what
you find around the house.
2.
Make a list of what you still need.
3.
Collect flyers from different stores' specials and circle what you can
buy that is cheaper.
4. Plan to buy larger quantities of items you need. Don't buy 10 packs
of binders you know you won't use.
5.
Plan a day to go shop and stick to your list. Stores are great at putting
attractive items close to the ones on sale that drew you into the store
in the first place.
6.
If you really have a hard time not overspending, leave your charge card
at home, take cash only etc.
7. Check with friends and family for trades or items they don't need anymore.
8.
Don't put it off! One week off might mean paying twice as much for the
same product.
9. I recommend if possible to shop without your kids for their supplies.
This will avoid the "pressure of Please, I want this".
10.
Once you buy the supplies, store the extra items out of the way so you'll
have those extra pencils, erasers, binders when they are needed.
